Designed and developed in extreme secrecy, the MiG-25 is a huge aircraft. It can carry a lot of long range missiles and bombs. After going through many different prototypes, the first production model of the Foxbat came in 1970.
It is the 2nd fastest plane to take off under its own weight after the SR-71 Blackbird. MiG-25 is also the 5th fastest plane ever to fly.
First flown as a prototype in 1964, it entered service in 1970. The MiG-25 series had a production run of 1,190 aircraft. The MiG-25 flew with a number of Soviet allies and former Soviet republics and it remains in limited service in Russia and several other nations. The MIG-25 remains as the fastest interceptor that entered mass production.
The MiG-25 made an appearence in HAWX 1 despite being incorrectly modeled as its successer, the MiG-31. It also made an appearence in HAWX 2, this time being correctly modeled.
